Medical Access Insurance (MAI)
Coverage is provided for consultation, diagnosis and surgery when a plan member is placed on a medical waiting list longer than 45 consecutive days. Once approved, services are expedited. You do not have to wait 45 days for treatment to begin.
MAI covers the cost of pre and post surgery specialist consultation, diagnosis (i.e., MRI and CT scans) and surgery, including approved travel expenses.
The MAI program provides coverage for over 135 health conditions.

There is No Medical Exam There are no co-payments or deductibles.
Medical Access Insurance (MAI) is available as single, couple, single with children, or family coverage. Premiums start at $24/month single and $62/month family.
